William Duprey has returned to Ashford United from Isthmian South East champions Three Bridges, the Isthmian League and KentOnline both report. He started the 2-0 home win over Steyning Town but went off before half-time with a dead leg and is expected back soon.

Freddie Francis, 16, came off the bench in the same game on dual registration from Folkestone Invicta, weeks after a trial at Premier League Ipswich Town. Craig Stone told KentOnline that bigger clubs are still interested but Francis wants to keep playing men's non-league football for now, and the arrangement with Folkestone will go game by game.

Ashford visit Merstham on Saturday at 3pm.
