Sak Hassan's first Dover goal beats Farnham
Dover Athletic 1-0 Farnham Town. Jake Leberl says the referee from the Chelmsford game has apologised for Charles-Cook's red card.
Winger Sak Hassan scored his first goal for Dover on 30 minutes, set up by Jack Bates, to beat high-flying Farnham Town at Crabble. Bates was named the club's Man of the Match. Euan Williams hit the post. The attendance was 675.
Harry Beadle also headed against the crossbar in the second half, the second time Dover hit the woodwork. Dover are 11th, a point behind ninth-placed Farnham.
Roman Charles-Cook played the full game after his red card against Chelmsford was overturned on appeal. Corie Andrews and Fuad Sesay replaced Luke Baptiste and Jalen Jones.
Jake Leberl called it "a really strong team performance" and said Dover's only other defeats had come at Billericay on the opening day and when down to ten men. He said referee Craig Barnett "has rung-up the day after and apologised" for the Charles-Cook red, but repeated his disappointment that the referee would not speak to him after the game.
