Farnborough 0-6 Ebbsfleet: Fleet run riot and go top
Two each for Seaman and Barnes as Ebbsfleet bounce back from Truro in emphatic style and climb to the top of National League South.
Three days after a 3-0 beating at Truro, Ebbsfleet United answered in the loudest way possible: six goals, a clean sheet and top spot in National League South.
Farnborough, thrashed 5-0 at home by Horsham on Saturday, had an early sight of goal when Keeya fired wide from 30 yards on nine minutes. It was a rare moment of comfort for the hosts.
Seaman headed Fleet in front from a Vokins corner on 19 minutes and Barnes doubled the lead. Just before the break Burley was booked for stopping Ogunleye, and Seaman curled the free-kick into the top corner for 3-0 on 43 minutes.
Farnborough made a triple change at half-time, but it changed nothing. Gbadebo headed in another Vokins corner on 53 minutes and Barnes lobbed his second three minutes later. Boss Josh Wright made three more changes on the hour.
Seaman missed the chance to complete a hat-trick, but there was still a sixth. Samuel tapped in from close range on 79 minutes after Harvey Walker's assist. Ebbsfleet said it was his first goal since his return.
343 watched, with Kai Morgan the referee.
