Faversham Strike Force 3-4 Hythe: from 3-1 down to the last word
Two from Embery and a 90th-minute winner from Nurden, both off the bench, complete a stunning Hythe comeback in the SCEFL Challenge Cup.
With 20 minutes left of their SCEFL Challenge Cup second-round tie, Hythe Town were 3-1 down at Faversham Strike Force. They still won it.
Taylor put Strike Force ahead on 13 minutes and Radojevic levelled for Hythe on 42, so it was 1-1 at half-time.
Then the hosts took control. Taylor scored his second two minutes after the restart and Oliver made it 3-1 on 70 minutes.
Hythe's bench changed the night. Embery pulled one back on 80 minutes and levelled from the penalty spot on 85.
Then, in the 90th minute, Nurden won it. Embery and Nurden had both started among the substitutes. What a cup tie.
