Gillingham's Eli King out for the season after surgery on a second ACL

Liam Gordon and Zech Obiero are hoped to be back around Christmas.

Gareth Ainsworth has confirmed that midfielder Eli King is expected to miss the rest of the season after surgery on his ACL. King, who joined on deadline day after recovering from an ACL injury suffered at Cardiff, was hurt in the 3-0 defeat at York in late September.

Kadeem Harris is also out for the season with an ACL. Ainsworth hopes Liam Gordon and Zech Obiero will be available around Christmas. Quotes via KentOnline.
