Ainsworth: Gillingham must not take Grimsby for granted
Injury update: Goodwin close, Eli King to see a surgeon; Eaves building fitness.
Gareth Ainsworth told the club website Gillingham must be "hugely respectful" of Grimsby, who visit Priestfield on Saturday. He said Will Goodwin will be back "very soon", Eli King is seeing a surgeon about his knee this week and Armani Little got through 90 minutes.
On the FA Cup first-round tie with Barrow, he said: "There are going to be upsets, definitely. We just don't want to be one of them."
Striker Tom Eaves, who made his first league start of the season on Tuesday, told the club he needs "a few more 90s in the tank". KentOnline separately quotes Ainsworth as saying Eli King and Kadeem Harris won't be back before Christmas (KentOnline only).
