Herne Bay 5-0 Sevenoaks: rout in the rain
Three goals inside 32 minutes, two for Azeez, and a statement night for Herne Bay.
"Now that's what you call a performance!" Herne Bay's verdict after a wet Tuesday night summed it up. Sevenoaks Town called it "a night to forget".
It took three minutes. Kingsford headed in Cosgrave's corner, though Sevenoaks credited the goal to Azeez. On 22 minutes Cosgrave got one of his own, side-footing a left-footer under Perrin after Robe's lay-off.
Azeez made it 3-0 on 32 minutes, poking past Perrin after Brissett's dink, and that was the score at the break.
There was no let-up after it. Robe beat his man and found the net in off the far post on 67 minutes, and three minutes later Azeez finished Robe's cross for his second of the night.
Wray made the saves he needed to at the other end, and the clean sheet was secured.
