Hythe Town groundshare at Folkestone Invicta for 2026-27
Delays to the Reachfields 3G pitch mean Hythe will play all their remaining first-team home games this season at Cheriton Road.
Hythe Town confirmed on 30 September (club website statement and club X) that all their remaining 2026-27 home fixtures will be played at Folkestone Invicta's Cheriton Road ground (The Alcaline Stadium). Season ticket holders keep free entry.
KentOnline reports that the move follows delays to the Reachfields 3G pitch over an ecological planning condition. Under-23 and youth sides will play at Reachfields, and the club says it intends to return there next season.
That explains why all seven of Hythe's SCEFL Division 1 games so far have been away. Their first home league game at Cheriton Road is v Sheppey Sports on Sat 14 November (FWP; Kentish Football).
