SE Dons 0-2 Hythe Town: Byford scores after 45 seconds and again on 11 minutes

Andy Crush is KentOnline's top boss of the week after the FA Vase win.

Josh Byford gave Hythe Town the lead after 45 seconds, turning and finishing from 20 yards into the top corner, and flicked in Harry Linch's cross on 11 minutes, the club's report says. Hythe were unchanged from the previous Saturday.

SE Dons thought they had pulled one back on 83 minutes when Michael Kamara bundled the ball in, but the assistant referee flagged for offside. Dan Smith made two late saves and Teddy Nelson cleared off the line. The attendance was 180.

KentOnline has named Byford in its Team of the Week and Andy Crush as its top boss. Hythe host Reading City in the third round on 28 November.

This updates our earlier story: FA Vase: Hythe, Tunbridge Wells, Rusthall and Larkfield into the third round.
