Maidstone board: Stones 'firmly in the promotion picture' as crowds rise
Oliver Ash and Terry Casey update supporters on the men's and women's first teams.
Maidstone United's Oliver Ash and Terry Casey have written to supporters with an update on the club's season.
They say the men's first team has made a strong start. Recent results have been mixed, but the side are third in the table and remain “firmly in the promotion picture”. The aim now is to stay in the play-off places and strengthen the squad when chances arise.
Attendances are up on last season, which they hope reflects supporters' enjoyment of the team's style of play under Craig and his staff.
The women's first team is also progressing well after promotion to the sixth tier last season, with the ambition of reaching the fifth tier within the next few seasons.
