Sheppey United beat Horley Town 1-0. Danny Leonard scored after seven minutes and came off at half-time, the club says, because he was feeling his knee.

New signing Amin Gurgol (spelt Gorgol in the club's line-up) made his debut off the bench on 70 minutes. Substitute Kaelem Sobhee-Turner was then sent off for violent conduct.

Mams Diallo, Mo Dabo, Alfie Evans, Ben Clark and Cameron Andrews were unavailable; D'Jean Spencer returned from injury. Josh Wisson was sponsors' man of the match.

Sheppey host South Park (Reigate) on Tuesday 27 October, 7.45pm.
