Sittingbourne part company with manager Reece Prestedge
The club and its first-team manager have split by mutual consent after an injury-hit start to the season.
Sittingbourne have parted company with first-team manager Reece Prestedge by mutual consent, the club announced on Sunday morning.
Prestedge took over midway through last season and led the Brickies to the play-offs for a third season in a row. The club said a promising start to this season had been disrupted by a lengthy injury list.
In a farewell message on X on Saturday night, Prestedge thanked the players and supporters and said: "Results weren't good enough, a lot of circumstances and things out of my control, but ultimately it's on me. I hold my head high and wish you the best."
